Snackin' & Yakkin'
Some podcast episodes feel planned. This one feels like three brains sprinting in the same direction while cookies melt in the sun and pop culture references fly off the shelf.
Episode 39 of Snackin’ & Yakkin’ with BIG Ben Kennedy brings in Keeli and DJ Wild Bill, the married duo behind Outlaw Entertainment, for Hobnobs, energy drinks, apple soda, and a whole lot of “wait, how did we get on this topic?” energy. It starts as snacking, quickly turns into karaoke stories, DJ origin lore, and ends with future duet plans.
The snack table starts innocent, then gets weird (in a good way)
Ben sets the vibe early. Open the snacks, hit record, and accept that the first take is probably the take. On the menu: multiple kinds of Hobnobs (plain, chocolate, dark chocolate), an apple soda, and an energy drink lineup that looks like it could power a small appliance. Why he’s DJ Wild Bill (and why that name matters)
The name sounds like a stage persona, but Wild Bill’s story starts way earlier than karaoke nights and weddings. He says he began DJing at 13, partly as an outlet and partly as a way to stay out of trouble. Picture the original DIY era: cassette tapes, recording music, then laying vocals over top like, “Hey guys, this is DJ Billy,” because that is what you did when radio felt like magic.
The “Wild Bill” part comes from high school. A shop teacher, Mr. Wiseman (a Buffalo guy and a Bills fan), gave him the nickname, and it stuck. After the teacher passed, the name became a tribute, not just a brand.
From there, the identity shifts depending on the room:
- DJ gigs: DJ Wild Bill
- Home life: Bill
- Acting sets: William (his real name)
Along the way, he also talks radio nostalgia (96 Wave, 98 Rock, and the whole “is it 98 Rock or 98X?” confusion). In other words, he’s a music guy through and through, even when the conversation detours into Grease lyrics and “Bird is the word” at record speed.

Karaoke nights, Outlaw Entertainment, and the Wet Willies meet-cute
Keeli is the one who reaches out first to get on the show, but the moment they start talking, it’s obvious they operate like a two-person comedy act. She’s calmer on camera, he’s a human soundboard, and Ben keeps accidentally finding his long-lost twin in the form of constant references.
Keeli and Wild Bill also share their origin story, and yes, it begins at karaoke. They meet at Wet Willies on Valentine’s Day, after her friend Heather brings her over to meet the “cute karaoke host.” Wild Bill gives Keeli his number, but she doesn’t call. She comes back the next week anyway, which is a strong “I’m interested, but I’m not admitting it” move.
Eventually, the relationship goes official on March 8, and Wild Bill tells the story of planting his AC/DC hat on her head like he just claimed new territory. He even jokes he “peed on her leg,” which is the kind of romantic language you only hear from a DJ with a mic and no fear.
Their business, Outlaw Entertainment, covers more than karaoke. They mention DJ services, weddings, trivia, music bingo, and even photo booths. Keeli is also the behind-the-scenes force, the one who books, messages, and keeps things moving while Wild Bill works the room.
Keeli’s influencer lane, energy drinks, and brains that never shut off
Keeli talks about her influencer-style reviews and trying to figure out her “thing.” TikTok has sent her products in the past (including workout items), and she now reviews energy drinks, including Alani Nu. She mentions Alani has liked some of her posts, and she even received an Alani-themed candle to review that smells like the drink.
Meanwhile, Ben watches Keeli casually sip an energy drink with 200 mg of caffeine and 10 calories and acts like he’s witnessing a medical experiment. Keeli shrugs it off. Coffee can put her to sleep, which tracks with the episode’s running theme: a lot of ADHD, a lot of fast thoughts, and bodies that react to stimulants in strange ways.
The conversation also gets real in places. Ben shares that a low dose of Adderall helps him focus enough to run his whole show (editing, sound, graphics, clips). Wild Bill mentions being a paramedic as his day job, which leads to the funniest possible payoff: Ben jokingly requests mouth-to-mouth if he passes out mid-episode.
Comedy CDs, acting stories, and an OnlyFans that wasn’t what you think
Ben pulls out a throwback, his 2006 comedy CD packaged to look like a mini vinyl record. It’s old enough that jokes on it mention becoming a dad soon, and that kid is now graduating college. The bit still lands, because nostalgia plus physical media always hits.
Wild Bill also shares acting and extra work, plus a wild near-brush with bigger roles (including submitting for Shaggy and losing to Matthew Lillard). He talks about how acting is still a job, and why he treats celebrities like regular people because everybody wants space when they’re off the clock.
Then comes the most perfect internet-era story: Wild Bill says he started an OnlyFans and posted pictures of actual fans. Someone paid, got mad, reported him, and the account got shut down. The punchline is simple and undefeated: he still made $5.
